My first impressions of the book

From reading the first chapter all that came into my mind was a 9 year, little boy, with dark brown hair, blue eyes and which came from a wealthy family. I saw Bruno as a young boy who loved to explore but didn’t know much about what was happening in Germany at the time. Bruno is a caring boy he only saw good in everything he did so really my first impression was quiet a happy book, where there was not much drama. I first realized that drama may start to Bruno and his families were going to be heading.

 My impression half way

Drama is basically an essence of this book and so is misery.  What Germans where doing the Jews made me want to keep on turning the page to see what happened to the Jews. Half way, I really saw the book as really tragic and horrible.  I saw Bruno’s family slowly breaking apart and Bruno is becoming is very cautious about things that go on around his house. After when Bruno finds the Shmuel, I could see how miss understanding Bruno was. He only knew that his father was a really important person and they moved her because of him.
